Our Community Wild Flower Garden is located on the corner of 14th Avenue and 16th Street. Did you know that this garden was donated to Sunalta by a former resident? It was meant to be a gift to the community by providing a green space to gather, garden and enjoy. This garden is cared for entirely by volunteers. We could always use extra hands to help weed and care for the plants and trees.

Many events take place here throughout the year. We have a little library, picnic table and a bulletin board.

Watch our for the Annual Spring Clean Up in May

The Annual Pumpkin Hunt in October

Are you looking for a great meeting place for work or with friends? Meet here.

Please email our program director Angie angie@sunalta.net for more info.

Join us on Wednesdays at 4:30pm for weeding and wonder. No experience necessary.

Do we make these separate pages? To drive more people to the WFG?

We are located on traditional territories of the Blackfoot and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyethka Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nation. The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Respectfully, we acknowledge that we share the land as people of Treaty 7.
