GET INVOLVED > create your own event

Sunalta Community Association is part of the Community Hubs Project with the City of Calgary.
Together we offer support and funding for YOU to get involved!

Do you want to start a knitting club, a dance class, a discussion group, a neighbourhood walking group?
Or do you want to throw a one time event? A pop-up community dinner, a box car derby,
a kids woodworking workshop, english classes, Bee keeping....
Your event must be for the benefit of the community.

We are located on traditional territories of the Blackfoot and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikuni, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Iyethka Nakoda First Nations, including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nation. The City of Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III. Respectfully, we acknowledge that we share the land as people of Treaty 7.
