Join us for the third annual Cornhole tournament at Sunalta Community Association. You might remember the Boards & Beers tournament of old. This year we are taking that amazing event and adding a bunch more fun. We call it Sunalta Sundown!

We're hosting the ultimate cornhole, music, food and beverage event at the Sunalta Community Association. Join us in the beer garden to enjoy live music complements of CJSW 90.9 Radio. Local beverages from Last Best Brewing & Distilling and Alberta Beer Exchange will be sold throughout the day. Krave Food Truck and Frozen Assets Ice Cream will provide delicious food and cold treats. **There will be vegan and gluten-free options.

In the evening, we’ll move the party inside the Sunalta Community Hall while we celebrate the victors and dance the night away.  

The final round of the tournament will kick off the afterparty inside the community hall as our champions make their entrance to the main stage. One team will be crowned champions and we'll celebrate with high fives and sick dance moves.

This obviously isn't your average cornhole tournament, it's a fun-filled day with boards, beers and beats! If you want to join the tournament, please see below for details.

This is a free event for anyone else who would like to enjoy the beer gardens, watch the tournament, or just enjoy live music while kicking back! The afterparty is free to all participants of the tournament. If you would like to join the after party, it will be $10 at the door to the hall starting at 830PM.

Free entry for the public and spectators or register a team of 2 to participate in the tournament! Only 32 teams can register, so decide quickly!  

​

Sunalta Hall is located right across from the train station and near many bike paths! Don’t worry about parking and come on down on foot or bikes. 

​

This is an 18+ event.

• Each team has two chances to move on 

• Participation comes with a welcome package including your first beverage on us 

• Please provide a team name upon registration
