Our amazing friend Janet Melrose, Calgary's Cottage Gardener has just published two new books. Now you can keep her wisdom on your coffee table. Check them out here.

Our Wild Flower Garden is located on the corner of 14th Avenue and 16th Street. It is volunteer run and fabulous. Many events take place here throughout the year. We have a shared compost, a little library and many plants that need love and care. This is good place to come and dig in the dirt with your neighbours. Also a great place to meet a friend for coffee. Please email our program director Angie angie@sunalta.net for more info.

The Community Plot Garden is located at the Community Hall, 1627-10th Avenue SW. We have 20+ plots available for you to grow your own food, herbs and plants. If you would like to use one of these plots for the summer of 2020 you can get in touch with

Kim Rondeau kim@sunalta.net

Additionally, keep your eye on our Facebook page for upcoming workshops on gardening, plants and good nature!
