As per Alberta Government and AHS orders our Community Hall is still closed to the public.

Groups or activities in the following categories are currently permitted to rent/use our space:

The term essential vs non-essential is not being used in the existing restrictions or in the planned path forward. 

Rather, it is based on activities and potential transmission of the COVID.

  • Worship groups at 15% fire code capacity:

    • Indoor group performance activities conducted in a place of worship, such as choir singing and playing music, are permitted provided these are normal activities conducted as part of worship practices and not for the purpose of entertainment.

  • Mutual support groups

  • Children’s indoor fitness is permitted under the current restrictions subject to the following conditions:

    • A maximum of 10 participants including coaches and trainers

    • All participants must be 18 years of age or younger except trainers and coaches

    • 3 metres of social distance must be maintained between participants at all times

    • No games are permitted

    • No spectators are permitted.

  • 1-to-1 fitness training and youth group physical activities

  • Charitable activities (including but not limited to food, clothing, and toy collection and distribution)

  • Counselling services

  • Consular services

  • Health Care services

  • Child care services

  • Election purposes and related activities

  • Indoor markets

  • Professional or other certification activities (including but not limited to recertification training or exams)

Any group, program and person using the facility must follow the COVID safety protocols including: Mask, physical distancing, disinfecting high touch point areas, list of attendees, staying home if you are sick or have been in contact with someone.
