Sober Crew Drumming Circle

Sober Crew is an indigenous group made up of people in recovery from addiction, led by Robbie Daniels. Sober Crew offers a safe and welcoming space where people can support each other through drumming and outreach. 

 

All are welcome to attend this group and appreciate the healing found in community.

 

Sober Crew - Wednesdays at 4:00-5:30PM (Main Hall)

Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth - Link Up

FREE Afterschool Program

 

Link up is a program for youth ages 6-11yrs old who belong to newcomer and/or low income families. CBFY offers thoughtful and structured programming which includes games, activities, crafts, and snacks and offers your child a nurturing space to be themselves and make new friends!

 

Every Monday at the Sunalta Community Hall

Calgary Immigrant Women's Association - New Friends and Neighbours Group

English Language Practice

CIWA's NFNG offers a safe and supportive space for newcomer women to form meaningful relationships while practicing and improving their English conversation skills. This group also offers the opportunity to learn about valuable resources available to them, and share experiences with other immigrant women. 

 

NFNG English Practice - Tuesdays at 10:00AM-12:00PM (Main Hall)

This program is available to all immigrant or refugee women (visitor, permanent resident, citizen)
