Gardening Workshop 4: Culinary Herb Gardening

Join Janet Melrose, Calgary's Cottage Gardener, in a series of workshops aimed to develop and expand on your gardening knowledge, all while connecting with community!

This event will take place in the MAIN HALL at the Sunalta Community Hall. please enter through the front door with the STAIRS.

In this program we will be going over:

• Herbs for Calgary -Annual, Biennial, Tender Perennials, Hardy perennials
• Care of herbs -pinching back, fertilizing, watering
• Harvesting -when and techniques
• Pests & use in Companion Planting
• Uses for Herbs
• Hands on- Planting up an Herb Container
