Where is it located?

1639 10 Avenue, SW, T3C 0J5. Located in the Sunalta Neighborhood of Calgary.  Directly across from the Sunalta C-Train Station

What is the capacity of each floor?

Main Floor Capacity:

  • 200 people (non-fixed seating)

  • 157 people (non-fixed seating and tables)

  • 124 people (dining and beverage setup)

Upper-Floor Capacity:

  • Maximum 60 people (dining and beverage setup)

Are the washrooms accessible? 

We have a total of 6 washrooms available for your convenience: 4 located on the upper floor and 2 on the main floor. Each floor features a fully accessible washroom.

    Is there a sound system?

  We're happy to tell you we now have a speaker for rent. It is a speaker with a microphone and bluetooth capabilities. If you're interested in renting this equipment please inquire with hallrentals@sunalta.net

Is there parking available? 
There is free 2 hour street parking surrounding the building. We have a parking lot attached to the building, however it is ​only available for use after 6PM Mon-Fri and open availability on Sat & Sun​. We are also conveniently located directly across from the Sunalta C-train station. Or if you are keen we are very accessible by bicycle! A bike lane runs right down 12 Ave and bike lock racks outside the building.

How do I get access to the building? 
You will have mobile or keycard access for the duration of your event. 

Do I need a liquor license? 
If you plan on having any liquor at your event then YES, you do need to have a liquor license. Even for private personal events. Please go to ​this link​ for more information and to apply.

* Any events booked on Friday or Saturday evenings will be charged the flat rate (5PM onwards).

* Parties over 75 persons, exceeding 12am and/or serving alcohol will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

* Note there is a 10% admin booking fee for each rental.

* To qualify for the SCA Resident Member pricing you need to have a current membership at the SCA AND live within the boundary of the Sunalta neighbourhood
